HealthPays Health Savings Account
Our HealthPays™ Health Savings Account (HSA) plans pair a qualified high-deductible health plan with a separate bank account in which you can set aside pre-tax money to help pay for qualified medical expenses. These plans are offered by Group Health Cooperative and its subsidiary, Group Health Options, Inc.
High-Deductible Health Plan
Once you satisfy your deductible amount, the plan kicks in and pays a large percentage of your health care expenses. You pay the balance, if there is one, plus any cost shares that might apply. Please see your summary of benefits for more details about your medical coverage.

How Your HSA Works
Your Health Pays HSA plan entitles you to open a health savings account through our financial partner, Mellon HSA Solution, administered by Mellon Financial Corporation. Mellon is a global financial services company that will assist you with managing your account, including using your HSA to pay for out-of-pocket medical expenses, such as your deductible.
Reimbursement
Getting reimbursement from your account is easy. After you've incurred a health care expense, your provider will bill you for the amount you owe. If it's a qualified medical expense, you can pay the bill out of your HSA by writing a check, using a Mellon debit card, or paying online.
Be sure to keep your receipts and any explanation of benefits for medical services you've paid for. They'll come in handy if you need them for the IRS.
Web Services
You can go online to request reimbursement for qualified medical expenses from your HSA. Just log in to MyGroupHealth for Members and click on "Your HealthPays Account" to get to your Health Savings Account page. You can reimburse yourself if you've already paid your provider for services. Or you can pay your provider directly from your HSA. You can view your account balances, make payments, and contact customer service for information. |
